WeatherTec Ionization Technology enhances precipitation covering per project up to 15.000 km². WeatherTec increases natural precipitation by mimicking the sun’s ionization process which is environmentally friendly and doesn’t generate any waste products. The technology enhances the growth of water particles by triggering the natural microphysical processes in the clouds: rain cells grow in size, increase rainfall intensity, and extend their life-span.

The extra available fresh water by more precipitation of at least 18% relieves countries suffering from insufficient rainfall or snowfall. This water volume can reduce droughts, support agriculture, diminish forest fires and provides fresh water for suffering communities. An increase of snowfall ensures more fresh water storage in snowpack during spring and summer months. It could also decrease the melting of glaciers and supports winter tourism.
